Creating Equitable Healthcare Solutions
for Historically Excluded Communities.
Equity Is the Word, LLC is a global health equity collective centered on improving awareness, health literacy, access, and uptake of advances in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical technology industries. The collective includes healthcare leaders across races, ethnicities, languages and continents who focus on serving individuals and communities identifying as Black-Indigenous-People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+ populations, differently abled, asylees, immigrants, and those in the trade sex industry.
We support non-governmental organizations/community based organizations (NGOs/CBOs) to create actionable time-limited steps to improving health equity by diving directly into an entity’s core structures to re-imagine, rebuild, adapt, or reinforce strengths and weaknesses to achieve their mission and vision. Equity Is the Word assures alignment of a client’s goals, objectives and outcomes per the collective actions of its Board of Directors/Trustees, Senior Leadership, Staff, and invested community members.
